64 GOODWIN TERRACE, BURLEIGH HEADS

DE-LUXE has been the cornerstone of the Burleigh beachfront precinct since 1930. The Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade is an enduring landmark for this coastal oasis – a celebrated place to gather and indulge in an opulent way of life. Weiya Holdings collaborated with Conrad Gargett to reimagine this piece of history and create an authentic collection of just 28 luxury beachfront residences in the iconic Burleigh Heads.
Located on the corner of Gold Coast Highway and Goodwin Terrace, the project offers a range of apartments, sky homes, sub-penthouses, penthouses and just two exclusive beach houses. Each space was designed to fuse old and new, with an amalgamation of rich red brickwork, brass hues and an understated colour palette. These premium materials and finishes were combined with historical design considerations, such as the incorporation of curtain-like curves and spotlight-inspired features throughout.
While the same sense of nostalgic luxury weaves through each residence, the project offers a variety of options for every chapter of life. With 2, 3 and 4 bedroom spaces to choose between, DE-LUXE offers endless opportunities to embrace the beauty of the past. Meanwhile, the varying floor plans all also offer large open plan living spaces, opportunities for zoned living and ample outdoor space.
The carefully curated sky gardens also ensure every floor enjoys mesmerising views of the ocean and beyond. The residents-only outdoor terrace is a place of timeless style and natural serenity. This true sanctuary is framed by lush greenery and a generous pool that invites mid-week refreshment and weekend rendezvous alike. Marvel at the unrivalled vista of glistening ocean waters, verdant treetops and golden stretches of sand while soaking in a pace of life synonymous with an era gone by.
At the ground floor, a well-appointed boutique retail space is complemented by an inspiring gallery. Each piece of art is an ode to an era gone by, inciting an inherent sense of nostalgia for residents and visitors alike. This space sits alongside a bustling dining and retail precinct that ensures every day is synonymous with ease.

Project Vision
The De-Luxe story is nearly a century in the making. A man by the name William Fradgley arrived at Burleigh Heads in 1917, where he leased a site on the corner of Connor Street and the Gold Coast Highway to build an open-air theatre. When his passion project started attracting crowds, he relocated to Goodwin Terrace and transformed the idea into De-Luxe. The cinema’s first ‘talkie’ screening on 9 September 1931 was the turning moment for something that would grow in a big way over the next 90-something years.
Realising the cultural significance and contribution of De-Luxe to Burleigh’s culture, Weiya Holdings set out to give this nostalgia a modern twist. From the concertina timber-framed doors to crowning terraced steps, every effort was poured into ensuring this regal legacy will endure for years to come.
Today, De-Luxe is a place that shares it’s well-told chapters to present a new epoch. Where ocean meets verdant greenery, world class surf meets delectable dining, and local markets meet boutique stores – De-Luxe is nestled in the heart of it all. Whether you’re admiring the landscape from afar, indulging in artisan eats or sipping on afternoon refreshments, it’s an enviable way of life.
